There was some boring marketing talk, but at least half of the presentations were
really informative and made me wanna go out and program some cool
applications ... which was possible because Microsoft had plenty
of notebooks prepared to try some of the hands-on labs yourself Emotion: crab

And for those who directly want to start working with the Live Framework,
got two invitation codes for the Azure Service Platform CTP Emotion: highfive

Besides: Its a real bummer, that you are required to have Windows Server 2008 or Vista
installed in order to install the Windows Azure SDK - even if you just want to use
the JavaScript resources or the Live Resource Browser which come with the SDK Emotion: poo
Windows Azure SDK Setup Wizard: To install this software, you must be running Windows Server 2008 or a 32-bit edition of Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. (Keywords: Microsoft, 2008, Screenshot )

But all in all it was a good presentation, I planned to set up a Windows 2008 virtual machine
anyways and I am really looking forward to the things to come Emotion: poolparty
